THE CRYING WALL is a vibrant display of the collective wishes to see His Holiness the 17th Karmapa have the freedom to share his message of peace and compassion world-wide.  Here, as an international community of Buddhists and non- Buddhists, young and old from over thirty countries,  we express our freedom of speech and a plea for grace.  Our unity is a cause for hope.

 All walls eventually fall and tumble to the ground. The final result of the The Crying Wall is to also dissolve  into the luminous ground of equality when the Karmapa becomes free. Until then, we express our voices and concerns, and we speak with our hearts about issues that matter to us as a global community.
